My main focus in photography is newborns. Babies are so precious and they change so fast, which makes it so important to capture those details in the first days of life, specifically 7-14 days if possible. I offer a full service newborn session starting with a consult to go over your vision and planning details of the images, including outfits, style, and to explain all of the options so there's no time wasted during the session.
Next, it's time for the session. This is where I create my magic and capture those memories, and you can relax, have a snack...or even a nap!
Two weeks after your session we will meet again to view your images and place your order. This part is so fun. You will get to see all of the sweet expressions captured of your little one as well as all of the memories made.
Then, we will schedule one final meeting to see your precious baby in print. Whether you choose wall art for your living room or the baby's room or even an album to display, everything will be revealed and gone over in detail.
About me
My photography journey has taken me down many paths including concert photography, engagements, weddings, events, maternity, families, children, newborns, pets and more. I love all of these genres but have a special place in my heart for newborns and children. This is an area of photography that I can't live without!
I believe my focus and inspiration of newborns came from having my own daughter. She was born 2 months premature and though she was tiny we knew she was a fighter. Small but mighty! After being discharged from the NICU I realized that we were never offered any newborn photos and it made me sad to think that those moments were never captured and they would just become a distant memory. I don't want anyone to feel that way. I want everyone to be able to cherish those memories in print and be able to look at the photos and remember them and share with their children as they grow up...which happens so fast! There are so many changes that happen in the first year of life and the only way to remember all of it is to capture those precious moments.
